The Foundation of Danilo Perez            [Go Website]      

Was established in 2005, when the pianist Danilo Perez began to develop music education programs in Panama. It is where music education and human development held for young people to lead their productive life through self-evaluation, imagination, cultures of others, and group unity.

As a special faculty 

Teaching the students from 5 year-old children to professional local musicians on various classes; Jazz Repertoire, Trio Jazz Ensemble, Piano Master class, etc. was an outstanding opportunity not only to see how much young people have potentiality that will bring much more diversity to the art but also grow interactively between teachers and students.

Identify the talent of each child

Taught children to introduce them to an enriched cultural experience and identify the talent of each participant, focused on learning by creating curiosity.

Through advanced music classes such as Trio jazz ensemble, Jazz repertoire and Preperation for audition, supported students with proper discipline to express themselves in creative ways.

A Forum of Korean Rhythms

Introduced Korean traditional rhythms with a Korean percussion, Janggu to Panamanians and presented how I collaborated with contemporary jazz.

Participated Panamanian percussion class runs by the finest Panamanian percussionist, Oscar Cruz.
